Minority Association of Pre-Health Students (MAPS)
The Minority Association of Pre-Health Students is an organization established to provide an instrument of academic and emotional support for under-represented groups to pursue a career in the health care profession. The goals of this organization are as follows:
- To act as a unifying force for under-represented groups on campus and throughout the community by maintaining a sound relationship with our community on a voluntary basis.
- To provide guidance and resources for under-represented groups wishing to matriculate into the health care professions.
- To promote the awareness and education of minorities on issues concerning health care (not defined due to dynamics of occupations and vocation.
