Minority Association of Pre-Health Students (MAPS)

The Minority Association of Pre-Health Students is an organization established to provide an instrument of academic and emotional support for under-represented groups to pursue a career in the health care profession. The goals of this organization are as follows:

  1. To act as a unifying force for under-represented groups on campus and throughout the community by maintaining a sound relationship with our community on a voluntary basis.
  2. To provide guidance and resources for under-represented groups wishing to matriculate into the health care professions.
  3. To promote the awareness and education of minorities on issues concerning health care (not defined due to dynamics of occupations and vocation.
