Mom's Day Scholastic Awards Ceremony
Each year, the Office of Minority Student Affairs (OMSA) is proud to sponsor the annual Mom’s Day Scholastic Award Ceremony. This event celebrates the academic accomplishments of African-American, Latino/Latina, Native American, POSSE, and Educational Opportunities Program students. Students who qualify for this award maintain a grade point average between 3.45 to 4.0 for at least one semester the academic year prior to the ceremony. Parents or guardians as well as faculty and staff are invited to this celebratory affair. The event includes a breakfast, a keynote speaker and the presentation of awards and certificates.
