Multicultural Career Fair
The Office of Minority Student Affairs (OMSA) invites undergraduate students from all majors to participate in the fall and spring Multicultural Career Fair. Both fairs are annual events and are located at the Illini Union, Rooms A, B, and C.
The Multicultural Career Fair is a two day long event hosted and sponsored by the Office of Minority Student Affairs. The Career Fair Networking (day 1) and Career Fair Interviewing (day 2) combine students seeking professional and enriching work experience with employers who are looking to fill permanent employment and internship positions. The Multicultural Career Fair is a wonderful opportunity for students from all undergraduate levels to connect with employers who make diversifying their workforce a priority.
Students are asked to pre-register for the career fairs by setting up a personal account in the I-Link system hosted through the Career Center. I-Link is a resource all University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign students may use. Students are encouraged to set-up an individual account and post a resume online. This will give you access to job postings from companies across the United States. Employers are always seeking new talent for the professional enhancement of their companies. Students will benefit from a multitude of job postings included in the I-Link system as well as stay informed about events such as Career Fairs, on campus interviews, and employer information sessions.
