Multicultural Career Fair
The Office of Minority Student Affairs (OMSA) invites undergraduate students from all majors to participate in the fall and spring Multicultural Career Fair. Both fairs are annual events and are located at the Illini Union, Rooms A, B and C.
The Multicultural Career Fair is a two-day event hosted and sponsored by the Office of Minority Student Affairs. The Career Fair is held on Day 1 and Interviewing is conducted on Day 2. This event combines students seeking professional and enriching work experience with employers and organizations who offer permanent employment and/or internship or coop positions.
The Multicultural Career Fair is a wonderful opportunity for students from all undergraduate levels to connect with employers who make diversifying their workforce a priority.
Students do NOT need to register to participate in the career fair. Please come to Illini Union Rooms A, B and C on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to meet and speak with employers. The companies will be listed on this Web site as their names become available. Please research them in advance so you are prepared to speak with their representatives, and bring copies of your resume and cover letter. Some of the employers present will select candidates for formal interviews, which will be conducted the following day, Thursday, Feb. 19, from 9 a.m. through 4 p.m.
If you have questions, please contact the Office of Minority Student Affairs, 217-333-0054.
