Annual Events
The Office of Minority Student Affairs (OMSA) hosts several annual events for the enrichment, recognition, and fellowship of our students. The fall orientation meeting during the first week of the fall semester introduces new students to the campus and to OMSA’s services. The EXPO introduces students to the diversity and a multitude of student organizations on campus. The fall and spring career fairs serve as networking and career enhancing events. The Multicultural Congratulatory provides December graduates the opportunity to be honored for their completion of undergraduate as well as graduate degrees. In April, the Mom’s Day Scholastic Awards Ceremony honors the academic achievement of students who achieve a grade point average of 3.45 or above.
Whatever your reasons for participating in OMSA events, the efforts on the part of OMSA staff to coordinate and host such events are our token of appreciation for the hardwork, dedication, and community enrichment OMSA students bring the campus and community. Your willingness to participate and exemplify leadership do not go unnoticed! You are the guests of honor at OMSA's annual events and your participation is much appreciated and welcomed.
