President's Award Program (PAP)
The Office of Minority Student Affairs (OMSA) provides financial, career and personal counseling, academic guidance and enrichment activities to help facilitate the academic and personal growth of high achieving students accepted into the President’s Award Program (PAP).
The Office of Admissions and Records is responsible for designating which students are eligible to participate in the PAP program. The goal of this program is to ensure the success of academically high achieving students who have an ACT score of 24 or above. If you are accepted into this program, you will receive all of the services that OMSA offers. In addition, you will be matched with a Graduate Counselor (GC) who will serve as your main resource person on the UIUC campus throughout your freshman year. Alumni of the program are professionals in a host of careers including doctors, lawyers, bankers, professors, and educational administration.
